Note

The transfer corona develops a strong positive charge on the back side of the paper. This causes the negatively charged toner particles to jump off the OPC drum and onto the paper just before the paper enters the fusing assembly. Transfer corona assemblies are fragile and the wires are easily broken during cleaning. The Printer Works sells entire assemblies, both new and used, as well as parts. At the time of this writing, we have a large quantity of the corona wire available at a discounted price. All CX and CXD printers use the same transfer corona assembly
