C3763A:
This is a complete kit for adding a 2000 sheet feeder to a 5Si series printer or Mopier that never had one installed before. It contains the feeder itselt, plus the necessary Paper Control PCBA (p/n C3768A) that mounts to the 5Si formatter using a ribbon cable that comes with it. A round cable (either p/n C3763-70000 or C4781-60504) that is also included with this item connects the board to the feeder.

C3763-60501:
This is the 2000 sheet feeder alone, for 5Si printers that already have the required paper control PCBA and cables included in the above C3763A package.

The 2000 Sheet Input Feeder is an essential addition to your high-speed HP LaserJet printer. It will optimize performance and overall efficiency, ideal for users who print large volumes and for those who need an additional input source or require high-volume unattended overnight printing. The additional capacity minimizes printer interaction. This version is compatible with the 5Si and 5Si Mopier series of printers.*

The feeder also adds the convenience of a printer stand, with wheels for mobility and threaded leveling feet for added stability.

The 2000-sheet tray is fully adjustable for all commonly used Domestic and International paper sizes: LETTER, LEGAL, A4, B4, 11x17, and A3.

*Note: You can also get a 2000 sheet feeder that is made for the 32 ppm LJ 8000/8100/8150 series and Mopiers 240 and 320 — p/n C4781A. Read more about it here. The C4781A can be used with the 5Si family of printers too, if you install the paper handling control PCBA described under C3763A in the notes under the photo to the left (p/n C3768A). A connector cable (p/n C4781-60504 or C3763-70000) would also be needed. The later printer models mentioned above (LJ 8000/8100/8150 series and Mopiers 240 and 320) have the paper control circuitry already built into the standard formatter boards so this extra PC board is not needed.
